Reformed Church

The church was built in 1919 in a historicizing style. The interior has a simple, brown wooden ceiling that harmonizes perfectly with the pews.

History

The history of this church is curious. It was the Weggis spa association that took the initiative to build it. It wanted to be able to offer Reformed guests its own church services and set up a fund for its own Protestant church building in 1901. The church was then built in 1917/18 at a cost of 35,000 francs and consecrated in June 1919.

Weddings

The church, which is located directly on Lake Lucerne, is a popular place to get married. The lakeside location gives your wedding photos that little bit extra.
