The Kirchweg is situated in a sunny location at 550 metres above sea level in the municipality of Greppen on the Waldstätterweg. Due to its proximity to Lake Lucerne and protected by the local mountain Rigi, the village enjoys a mild climate.
The farm is located in the pre-alpine hilly zone and in mountain zone III, where the "Bärgli" is farmed in the Rigi area.
