History
The Markuskirche in Vitznau is the first reformed church in the Lucerne countryside. Tourism brought more and more reformed guests to the predominantly Catholic region. This increased the need for Protestant services and the desire for a church of their own. It was built in 1904 in the English style.
Weddings
The church offers space for 150 guests. If you are a member of the Reformed parish of Rigi Südseite or the parish of Lucerne, use is free of charge. The usage regulations and the application for use can be found on the website of the Rigi Südseite church. Or contact the secretariat of the Reformed Church Rigi South Side for details.Good to know
