On Rigi Kulm, right next to the mountain station, is the service center Rigi Kulm where you can rent items such as sledges and snowshoes. You can also get information and buy souvenirs and other items.

The following equipment can be hired from the service centre Rigi Kulm:

Sledge hire CHF 15 (+ CHF 20 deposit)
Sledge hire for schools CHF 7 (no deposit)
Snowshoe hire CHF 20 (+ CHF 20 deposit)
Helmet rental CHF 5 (+ CHF 20 deposit)

Return
Hired equipment must be returned on the same day. Your deposit will not be refunded if the equipment is returned damaged. Return options:
- Rigi Kulm until 4.30 pm
- Rigi Kaltbad until 4.30 pm
- Rigi Staffel until 4.00 pm
- Rigi Klösterli until 5.00 pm
- Alpenkiosk Rigi Scheidegg Wed - Sun until 5.00 pm
- Service centre Vitnau

Clothing
Good waterproof footwear, warm clothes, gloves and a hat are recommended. (Clothing cannot be hired locally)
