The pilgrimage church in Greppen, is a popular wedding church. The choir room is oriented towards the rising morning light, while the evening sun shines lengthways through the baroque nave.
If you live in one of the local lakeside parishes, you can use the church free of charge. If you do not live in one of the lakeside parishes but are a member of a regional church, you pay a flat rate of CHF 350 towards the maintenance costs of the church. Please contact the parish secretariat for all details about the wedding ceremony.
The stucco frames and the three ceiling paintings above the choir room are remarkable.
Marriage
The 26 metre long and 11 metre wide church room can accommodate 150 people.
