Exhibition
Do as the legendary freedom hero did and combine your visit to the Hohlen Gasse with a walk.
In the Hohlen Gasse, the history of William Tell comes to life. The audio-visual show in the information pavilion picks up facts and stories about the freedom hero. Strolling through the Hohlen Gasse, the atmosphere becomes mystical, especially in autumn.

The Hohle Gasse experience begins with a visit to the scene show in the information pavilion. Afterwards, a walk through the Hohle Gasse leads to the Tell Chapel.

Not far from the Hohlen Gasse, on a hilltop, are the ruins of the Gesslerburg (actually Burg zu Küssnacht). Like the Hohle Gasse, the castle is connected with the legend of William Tell. According to the historian Aegidius Tschudi, it is said to have been the seat of the bailiff Hermann Gessler.
