The aerial cable car overcomes an altitude difference of 702 meters and leads from Brunnen steeply up to the eastern foothills of the Mount Rigi, the Urmiberg. At 1,135 meters above sea level, a breathtaking panorama opens up with a unique view.

Whether you want to sit back and relax, enjoy the view of Lake Uri or explore the Rigi with a well-packed rucksack - both are possible on the Urmiberg.

The Urmiberg mountain restaurant is located directly at the top station of the aerial cable car. The sun terrace offers an impressive panorama.

The Urmiberg is also an ideal starting or finishing point for hikes on theMount Rigi:

Uphill to the Gottertli viewpoint, to Rigi Hochflue or to Rigi Scheidegg
A complete crossing of the Rigi is also possible
Down the valley to Lauerz, Brunnen, Gersau or Vitznau
