Important notice

Steam locomotive 7 was built in 1873 by the Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik in Winterthur. The locomotive was decommissioned in 1937 and found a new home at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne in 1959. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Rigi Railway in 2020, it was restored with a great deal of expertise and passion and is now steaming up the Rigi again.
