Riviera scavenger hunt Vitznau

During the Riviera scavenger hunt in Vitznau, families and explorers embark on an exciting adventure in the heart of nature. Tricky puzzles await on idyllic paths in Vitznau and in the park forest. Along the way, a barbecue area invites you to take a cosy break and enjoy some refreshments. Those who solve all the puzzles can also win great prizes.

History

The former fountain master of Vitznau was convinced that there was a magical spring in the municipality. He said that anyone who drank or bathed in it would be transformed into a wishing creature. He spent every spare minute looking for it. In the evening, he returned tired and disappointed.

But now the fountain master has disappeared and everyone is puzzling over his whereabouts. His rucksack was found on the banks of the Leisibach in the park forest. It contained empty containers for water samples, a branch fork, a map, a full bottle of tea and his camera. Can you find the eight clues along the way with the help of the map and photos? They will tell you what has become of the fountain master.

Game description

This summer three scavenger hunts can be experienced every day. In addition to Vitznau, you can also search for clues in Weggis and Rigi Kaltbad. Punch cards for the scavenger hunts can be obtained on site. 

The punch card contains information on where to find the posts along the scavenger hunt. When you come to a post, punch the post on the punch card. Once you have found all the posts, you must translate the secret solution word at the end of the route and enter it online using the QR code. Only then will the last puzzle be unlocked. If you manage to solve it, great prizes await you. 

Those who have successfully solved all three scavenger hunts can take part in the main prize draw.  

Win

And there is also something to be won: Once all nine posts have been found, the secret solution word can be revealed with the help of a clue in the display case in front of the Tourist Information Weggis. Only then will the last puzzle be unlocked. If you manage to solve it, great prizes await you.

Conditions of participation

The closing date for the competition is 24:00 on Sunday. The winner will be drawn at random from all participants in an orderly draw with equal chances of winning from all entries received. The participation of minors requires the consent of their legal representatives. The winners will be notified personally. Participants' data will only be used for the organisation of this competition and will not be passed on to third parties. The data protection guidelines of Lucerne Tourism apply. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. Lucerne Tourism reserves the right to amend the conditions of participation at any time. Legal recourse is excluded.
