The fjord-like landscape, surrounded by famous excursion mountains, and the historic paddle steamers make it a unique excursion destination. Under the surface of the water, too, there is a varied picture with steep walls, canyons, rocks, wrecks and all kinds of creatures - something for all divers.

There are three Dive sites:

- Elefäntli, Vitznau
- Unterwilen (Brougier-Park), Vitznau (please observe diving restriction notes)
- Old lido, Vitznau (1. June - 31 August no diving)
