Surrounded by lush meadows and forests, close to the summit of Rigi Kulm, Alp Chäserenholz offers not only traditional gastronomy, but also overnight accommodation on the alp, a cheese dairy that can be visited and alpine wellness with unbeatable views.
The cosy guest rooms (2 - 4 beds) with bathroom/WC on the floor or the dormitory offer space for individuals, families or groups. Included is a hearty alpine breakfast with homemade specialities.
Numerous hiking trails lead past the alp, making this the perfect place to spend several days on Mount Rigi and get some exercise. After a strenuous hike, you can relax your strained muscles in the alpine wellness centre with sauna, whirlpool or whey bath (advance booking required).
The alp can be reached by cog railway to Rigi Kulm. The subsequent walk to the alp takes about 20 minutes and is downhill.
