Ensemble Montaigne - A Watery Star

Ensemble Montaigne will perform two world premieres: a new ensemble piece by Daniela Achermann, a composer who works as an organist in Sursee, and a quartet by Peter Vögeli - oboist in the ensemble and long-standing president of IGNM Zentralschweiz. Opposite is a major work of French spectralism: the 1993 octet "The watery star" by Hugues Dufourt. You can expect a tonal dramaturgy that is able to express an elementary enthusiasm in a surprising and revealing way through the combination of music from such different backgrounds.
