On June 4, 1875, the Arth-Rigi Railway opened its service between Arth am See and Rigi-Kulm, with a stop also in Goldau. As Goldau developed into a railroad junction, the ARB had to react to new traffic situations in the following years. A walk through the station district provides a wealth of information about this exciting and pioneering era in the development of Goldau.
